Marie is a Rally judge and has been part of Crufts main arena and KC Activity Area demos and Inter Regional Rally Team competitions since 2013. Marie and Yogi have been members of the Midlands Inter Regional Rally Team, competing at Crufts in 2018, 2019 and 2020

Paws’n’Learn Dog Training & Puppy Playschool was launched in 1990 and closed in 2020. My passion has always been for puppy training and the prevention of behaviour problems. I also work with owners to help modify established problem behaviour in older dogs. Help has come from many sources but the greatest encouragement and support to actually launch Paws'n'Learn came from David Summers BVMS;MRCVS and Debbie Summers VN (Hollycroft Veterinary Centre, Hinckley, Leics.), and David Appleby (originally of the Pet Behaviour Centre, Worcs.)

I became interested in the work of Linda Tellington Jones' Tellington TTouch and TTEAM training techniques in 1997 and this has since played a major role in the direction that I have taken with Paws'n'Learn. I would like to see these the Tellington TTouch Method made available to pet owners, trainers, groomers, veterinary staff and kennel staff for the benefit of animals in their care.

After working together for some years, Sarah Fisher and I joined forces to write "100 Ways to Train the Perfect Dog" which was published by David and Charles in November 2008. This highly successful book  has now been published all around the world and in many different languages. Our second publication "100 Ways to Solve Your Dog's Problems" was published in Autumn 2009.

In Autumn 2011 and Spring 2012 Sarah and I taught the first "Cool to Be Kind" course at Tilley Farm, which integrated Tellington TTouch & Clicker Training methods for trainers, groomers and rescue workers. The course took the form of two, three day modules. This successful course was repeated in the Spring and Autumn of 2013.

Proud Day

It is always a joy to learn from and spend time with Linda Tellington Jones and I have been very lucky to receive my certificates from her at TTouch P1, P2 & P3 graduations.

It was an honour to be invited to assist at the UK Advanced Practitioner Training at Tilley Farm. It was a great three days  with Linda, Sarah Fisher, Tina Constance  and all of the excellent TTouch Practitioners and PiTs who attended.

A wonderful and unexpected end to the Advanced Training  came during our closing circle when Linda promoted me to Tellington TTouch Instructor for Companion Animals, one of only three in the UK

 Open Day & 25yrs Celebration - 31st January 2015

Many other friends came to join us for an afternoon & evening to remember. Clare made this beautiful celebration cake and we partied the night away just down the corridor from Paws’n’Learn Studio at the Rendezvous Events Bar
